Hobby Scout helps South African collectors find stock, learn and support the hobby. Respect retailer purchase limits. Do not use multiple accounts to evade limits, capture bulk stock through the app, sell access or invitations, harass members or submit misleading reports.

Stock is an observation at a stated time, not a reservation or guaranteed availability. Collector Assist V1 rechecks one exact product against your price cap and opens the retailer listing. You choose whether to buy and complete payment with the retailer. We do not automatically order or store payment credentials.

Invites are for people you know. Founding members spend their first 30 days exploring, giving feedback, contributing knowledge and participating. Useful contributions are reviewed; invitation allowances do not grow with spending. Reviewers may restrict access and members may appeal through the private community concern form.

Endorsements have a stated scope and evidence basis. They are not a guarantee of someone's conduct or a certification of a trader. Member reviews describe firsthand experiences and must be honest; label uncertainty. Reviews may be flagged for review and stores may request a response through the team.

Peer lessons are arranged by hosts and learners. Agree on costs, venue and expectations before attending. Involve a guardian for younger participants. Hobby Scout does not collect lesson payments.

Participation certificates recognise attendance confirmed by a verified host after a session. Local contest achievement certificates record a result confirmed by the host. They are Hobby Scout community recognition, not formal qualifications or endorsements from a game publisher. Issuing hosts and administrators can withdraw incorrect certificates with a stated reason.

No community can guarantee that every member acts fairly. We review concerns and favour useful participation, clear store rules and transparent evidence.
