We store your collector profile, followed stores, alert preferences, contribution submissions, invitations, lesson arrangements, feedback and community reports in the app database. A secure browser cookie identifies browser profiles; signed-in profiles use the platform identity. Browser-only profiles do not yet offer cross-device recovery.

Lesson listings, host display names, scoped endorsements and store reviews are public. Lesson requests are visible to the relevant host and learner. Invitations are stored as hashes; codes are shown once and should be shared privately. Private concerns and onboarding evidence are visible to the community administrator. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in submissions or reviews.

Certificate records retain the recipient and issuing host display names, session title, game, venue, date and any host-confirmed result. They are accessible to the recipient, session host, issuing host and community administrator. Printing or sharing a downloaded certificate is your choice; certificate links require an authorised collector profile.

Browser notifications store your device push subscription only after you enable them. Disable notifications in your browser to stop delivery. Notification providers receive the data needed to deliver alerts. Retailer links open third-party websites with their own policies.

Google reviews, where configured, are fetched from Google Places and attributed to Google and the review authors. We keep a verified Place ID for each linked business; we do not store copies of Google review content. The store map uses OpenStreetMap. Location is requested only when you choose the map location controls; submitting a branch report publishes its selected coordinates.

We do not store payment credentials or execute unattended purchases. For a profile deletion, correction or access concern, use the private community review form or contact the founding team through the tester channel that invited you. This notice will be updated before wider launch with a dedicated privacy contact and retention schedule.

Google Maps content is provided under the Google Maps terms and Google Privacy Policy. Google ratings and review excerpts are separate from Hobby Scout member feedback.
